Terms and Conditions
The purpose of this policy is to establish a framework for deterring, detecting and dealing with plagiarism. We take plagiarism very seriously and the penalties, if caught, may be surprisingly severe and you may be dismissed from the course.

1/ Applicants must have a full competency in the subjects that they wish to teach.
2/ The age requirement is 18 years old when starting the course and upon certification learners must be 19 years of age.
3/ Proof of Identity Fraud: If it is found that any learner has fraudulently sent us incorrect proof of identity, the learner will immediately be withdrawn from the course, no fees will be returned and the appropriate authorities will be informed.
Proof of identity –for further information see General / Plagiarism Q & A. After enrolment, payment will required together with proof of your identity. This may be a scanned file of either your driving licence or passport sent to us via email whereby all the details can be easily viewed.
4/ A fine of £100 may be imposed if you are unable to complete the course within the time allotted unless an extension is granted by ourselves for special circumstances. The finishing date of the course will be sent to you within 3 days of being advised of the start date of the course. If an extension is required, a written request to email@example.com is required detailing the reasons for it AND accompanying collaborating evidence AND your proposed new finishing date.
5/ UK learners are required to fully complete the enrolment form on our website after logging on.
6/ All payments must be made by non-cash methods (UK Fees or Global Fees).
7/ All AET, online & blended applicants will be allocated a place on the course subject to the learners’ indicated preferences at the time of enrolment. Due to planning commitments and observation requirements the CET, DET & Assessors courses are subject to availability. In addition, classroom based courses are also subject to availability in Birmingham, Leicester, Doha and Dubai.
8/ There will be no refund of any fees if you decide to withdraw from the course.
9/ All applicants can be assured that UKTC will not market your data to a third party and that they are registered with the Data Protection Agency.
10/ English literacy and communication skills should be adequate to meet the requirements of the training.
11/ Our college requires the scrutiny and certification of an awarding body certified by Ofqual to teach the courses we teach. The awarding body which we are certified by is “Training Qualifications UK” (TQUK) who, along with Ofqual, support, scrutinise, assesse, examine, certify and endorse our college and our learners’ work, assignments and qualifications. The qualifications achieved via these professional bodies are recognised in the UK and many countries, organisations, armed forces, charities, authorities and companies throughout the world.
12/Note: You must dedicate a certain amount of time, which varies depending on the course you are taking, on a weekly basis and it is a priority to accumulate the guided learning hours (GLH) at least once a week according to the awarding bodies’ standards.
Important Note.The course is NOT appropriate for:
• those wanting to teach in secondary schools who should contact the Teaching Agency – getintoteaching.education.gov.uk.
• those wanting to work as a teaching assistant in schools. Please contact SHAC.
• those wanting to teach in primary schools. If you are interested in teaching in nursery education or primary schools please contact the Society, Heath and Childhood Team (SHAC) in your own county.
